I've written for The Huffington Post, Crosscut.com, SeattlePI.com, University Week (UW faculty/staff online newspaper), Columns (UW alumni magazine), The North Seattle Herald-Outlook, The Madison Park Times and City Living. I also write a running blog, Dev on Running.
I've won two Pioneer Newspapers Excellence in Journalism awards for Political Reporting (2008) and Feature Writing (2009). I was also awarded the Bruce & Betty Helberg Internship Scholarship in 2009 by the Washington State Newspaper Publishers Association.
In February 2008, I was a guest on KUOW's Weekday with Steve Scher on a program about Youth Involvement in Politics.
